Title Bar

The Title bar contains information about the application.  In this example the first section, "iSnipeIt 2.0" refers to the application version number.  The second section, "[Onealpha]" is referring to the username of the user who is currently logged in to iSnipeIt.  The third section, "(Viewing "Racing"), refers to the folder that is currently open in the Item view below.  This can be very handy when you have the Item View Grid Hidden and need a quick reference to what folder is open as this is where your auctions will be added to. Try using this with the shortcut bar for quickly browsing and adding of auctions. Additionally, the title bar will display the number of snipes that are currently scheduled for the logged in user.

  Minimize/Maximize/Close

These three buttons are something that you will see in almost every Microsoft Windows Application.  They are very helpful in quickly changing the state of the application.

You can return it to its original state by right clicking on the icon and choosing "Restore iSnipeIt" or by double clicking on the icon.

When you click the Maximize button the iSnipeIt application will expand to fill your entire monitor screen.  You can restore the application back to its previous state by clicking on the button that replaces it when maximized

The File Menu will give you the option of selecting from Login/Logout and also Exit.  If you choose Log In you will be prompted with the following screen which will require that you choose a username and the corresponding password for that user if you previously selected a password.

If you choose to log out you will need to log  back in before using iSnipeIt.  The Exit option will close iSnipeIt.

System Menu "Tools" Dropdown

The Sync eBay Time option can also be accessed by clicking  the icon in the Application Toolbar.  When either of these options are chosen iSnipeIt will Synchronize your time to eBay's Time.

When selecting this option the Add New User window will open.  You will need to fill in the information on all of the tabs to complete the setup of a new user.

When choosing to Remove a User from your iSnipeIt application you will see the following window and will need to select the user name and input the password to delete it from iSnipeIt.  You must be logged out as that user before deleting it.

System Menu "Actions" Dropdown Menu

The Schedule Bid function can also be accessed by clicking on the icon in the Application Toolbar.  To schedule a bid you must first click on the auction in the Auction Grid that you wish to schedule the bid for.  When you click on "Schedule Bid" or the icon you will see the "Schedule Snipe" window as shown below.  You can use this procedure to both schedule a snipe and unschedule a snipe.  The latter would be accomplished by clicking "Unschedule this Auction" which is disabled in the window below.

You can delete any auction in the Auction Item View Grid by first selecting the auction and then clicking on this or on the icon in the  Application Toolbar.

You can Refresh any single auction in the Auction Item View Grid by first selecting the auction and then clicking on this or on the icon in the  Application Toolbar

You can refresh all of the auctions in your Auction Item View Grid by clicking on this or on the icon in the  Application Toolbar.  This will refresh ALL of your auctions and you will see the total number in the Item Queue. Depending on your connection speed and total number of auctions in all of your folders this could take some time.

You can stop the processing of all items in iSnipeIt's Queue by clicking on this or on the icon in the  Application Toolbar.

You can automatically log in to eBay by clicking on this or by clicking on the Sign in to eBay  option in the dropdown window.  When this option is selected, iSnipeIt will go to eBay and sign you in under your username.  This is very handy as you will not have to continually enter your username and password each time you wish to use a secure feature on eBay.

iSnipeIt now has the ability to Compact its Database. This option was provided so that users who track a high volume of auctions can optimize the performance of iSnipeIt's database. Compacting a data essentially shrinks a database down to its optimum file size.
