Do I need to provide your company with my eBay user name and password?
No, Absolutely NOT.  We do not need your username and password.  Giving out your username and password poses a serious security risk to your eBay account.  You should always check eBay's "Authorized Password Users" Page to see if they have an agreement with eBay to use your username and password. eBay will list those third parties on this page so that you know that eBay has an agreement with the eBay Authorized Password User. You can check this page by Clicking Here.

How do I add auctions to the Auction Organizer?
There are 2 ways to add an auction to the Auction Organizer:

1) The quickest way to add an auction while viewing the item on eBay is to click Add Auction button () which is located to the left of the address bar in the browser view.  Note that this button will be disabled if you are not currently viewing an auction or if you have already added this auction.

2) Clicking this button () pops up a window where you can enter (or copy & paste) the Item Number of an Auction.

*Please note that whenever you are adding auctions, the auction will always be placed into the folder that was open when the add operation was requested.

Is there a version of iSnipeIt for Macintosh (MAC)?
iSnipeIt is not currently available for Macintosh.  However, please read the following for more information on how to use iSnipeIt on your Macintosh. Click Here

Can I use iSnipeIt to List Auctions?
iSnipeIt does not provide auction listing features.  We built iSnipeIt around a web browser because we wanted users to be able to access everything from one common interface. We did not want to reproduce any features provided by eBay and other auction related websites.  Auctionwatch.com  and Auctionrover.com are couple of the sites that offer this feature. We have found that using iSnipeIt in conjunction with one of these websites to be very effective.

Can I schedule multiple auctions at the same time?
iSnipeIt was designed to handle multiple users and multiple auctions simultaneously.  Furthermore, iSnipeIt's queuing system allows it to place bids on multiple auctions (across multiple users) even if the auction ending times tightly overlap.  More technically, iSnipeIt employs 'asynchronous queued processing', a feature that we are very proud of and one you won't find elsewhere.

Can I pay for iSnipeIt through phone or fax?
Yes, when you register iSnipeIt you will have the option of paying by through a Secure Internet Connection or by FAX or PHONE.  We use a merchant company to process all of our orders, but please be advised that they charge an ADDITIONAL $1.00 for handling FAX or PHONE orders.  If you bid on iSnipeIt you will be contacted at the end of the auction, via email with payment instructions.  The email will connect you to our merchant company's web site where you will be able to select how you wish to have your order processed.

How long will it take to get my registration code after I purchase iSnipeIt?
You will receive your registration code within minutes of completing your order if you choose the DigiBuy Option or up to 48 hours for PayPal.

The new version of iSnipeIt allows you to try every feature for FREE for 20 days.  Of course after the trial period is over you will have to register the software to continue using it.  A great deal of hard work has gone into the development of iSnipeIt.  The application is packed full of great features for managing your eBay auctions.  We are a software development company, and we want you to buy iSnipeIt so we can continue to make it better for you.  We would like you to Try iSnipeIt for 20 days and then register the software.  We have even included an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee.  If for any reason during the first 30 days after your registration you are unsatisfied with our product, we will promptly refund your money.

How do I move auctions to the closed folder?
iSnipeIt will move closed auctions automatically to the Closed Auctions folder when the item is refreshed.  The Closed Auctions folder is a special folder in that you cannot move items manually into it.  However you can create other folders under the Open Auctions and move them among other open auctions folders.  You can do this by left clicking on a selected auction in the grid and dragging to another folder.

Does my computer need to be turned on for iSnipeIt to Auto-Bid?
Yes, your computer must be turned on for iSnipeIt to place your bids.  iSnipeIt is software that is installed on and resides on your computer.  In order for iSnipeIt to do its job, Auto-Bid, you must have your computer turned on and running.

Do I need to leave my computer connected to the internet for iSnipeIt to Auto-Bid?
Your computer must be turned on and be able to connect to the internet, but it is not necessary for you to leave your computer connected to the internet for iSnipeIt to Auto-Bid.   When it is time for iSnipeIt to connect to eBay's server and place your bid it will Auto-connect to the internet and interface with eBay's CGI (Common Gateway Interface).  It will then submit your bid at the time you designated.

I received my Registration confirmation email, but I have not received my registration number. Is there a problem with my order?
If you have received your Registration Confirmation Email from DigiBuybiz@onealpha.com then it means you have successfully registered the software. iSnipeIt uses DigiBuy Secure Merchant services to process your order. Their networks are safe, fast, and will send you your email confirmation minutes after completing the registration.  If you haven't  received a confirmation go to iSnipeIt Registration Code Request and  send us an email so we can make sure you do. Included in this email is your Registration Code that you need to unlock iSnipeIt's Schedule Bid (snipe) feature.  It should be near the middle of the email and look like this,  "Reg. Codes given: XXXXXXXXXXXXX".  The X's are the registration code.   Now all you have to do is complete these steps and you will be sniping in minutes.

1)Since you have received an email confirming your order, you already have
the  Registration Code.  This code is included in the email you received
from Digibuy to confirm your order.

2)Open iSnipeIt and click on the Help menu near the top of iSnipeIt, then
click on Register iSnipeIt.

3) A registration window will open up. Fill in the form at the bottom of
the page, click the button below it and you are ready to begin using
iSnipeIt.

If I have my snipe scheduled to bid 30 seconds before the end of an auction, how will iSnipeIt have time to Dialup the internet and submit the bid?

iSnipeIt will connect a few minutes before the auction ends. This value is configurable in the application settings, but 5 minutes is recommended.

After iSnipeIt dials up (by default 5 minutes before the auction ends), it will synchronize your time to eBay time so that the snipe is accurate to the second (most pc clocks lose or gain several seconds per day, so this is an important step). Next iSnipeIt will place your preliminary  bid which is the equivalent of when you put in your bid manually without confirming. Next iSnipeIt will wait until the exact second (30 seconds before auction ends in your example) and confirms your bid. After iSnipeIt Completes your Bid (snipe), you can verify the accuracy of the snipe time by checking the time that your bid was registered with eBay (the eBay server may take a couple of seconds to accept the bid request.  So this time may be a couple of seconds after the 30 second mark- but usually its within 1 or 2 seconds. Response times can vary depending on your internet connection speed and internet traffic.)
