ISnipeIt 2.0.22 Update Installation Instructions

Do You Already Have iSnipeIt Installed?

If you do not have a current copy of iSnipeIt installed on your system, please download and install the full installation of iSnipeIt 2.0.22 from our download page at http://www.isnipeit.com/down.html

*If you install the full installation from our download page and already have a previous version of iSnipeIt installed you will lose all of your saved data including registration information.

What Version Do You Have Installed?

You can check the version of iSnipeIt that is running on your computer by opening iSnipeIt, then clicking on "Help" near the top of the application and clicking on "About iSnipeIt" in the dropdown window.

If you are currently running iSnipeIt 2.0.16 or earlier you will need to download and install the full installation from http://www.isnipeit.com/down.html.

If you are currently using iSnipeIt 2.0.17, 2.0.18, 2.0.19, 2.0.20 or 2.0.21, proceed to the instructions below.

Updating from Versions 2.0.17, 2.0.18, 2.0.19, 2.0.20, 2.0.21 Only

1. Download the Latest Update

2. Close iSnipeIt

3. Run the iSnipeIt Update

Begin by Double clicking on the file that you have downloaded to begin. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen. Please Note: This update must be installed into the current iSnipeIt folder. If you do not know where your current copy of iSnipeIt resides, please follow these instructions:

- Click on the Windows Start Button
- Select "Find" => "Files or Folders"
- In the "Named" field, type "isnipe.exe"
- Select the appropriate Hard Drive from the "Look In" dropdown box
- Click "Find Now"
- isnipe.exe file will be displayed in the files list. Note the folder in which it resides (in the "In Folder" column). Make sure you select this folder when installing the iSnipeIt Update.

4. Your copy of iSnipeIt is now updated. If the installation asks you to restart you computer you should do so. To verify, check to see that the version number is 2.0.22 by opening iSnipeIt, and clicking Help in the main menu, then click About iSnipeIt.
